Last date to apply for CLAT 2020 extended to July 1

Around 60,000 candidates appeared for CLAT in 2019  Mohali: Due to the prevailing pandemic COVID-19 in the country, Consortium of National Law Universities have decided to extend the last date of online applications for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) to July 1, 2020. The date for the CLAT exam would be announced by July 1 giving students at least 21 days prior notice for the exam. The exam will be conducted by National Law School of India University, Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru for the admission in 2020-21 in 22 National law universities (NLUs) and 50 affiliated Law colleges & Universities in India.  In 2019, around 60,000 candidates appeared for the CLAT. Married woman missing, report registered

SHAHKOT  The Shahkot police have registered a missing report in connection with the disappearance of a married woman. Ranjit Singh a resident of Nangal Ambian village complained to the police that his wife Rekha(25) along with his daughter Kirti (3)Pushpa Ranni went out of the home on May 25 on a scooter  and not returned home. Station House Officer Surinder Kumar said that a missing report has been registered.
